Praise and Worship that flows with anointing, energy, and excitement. Perhaps no idea is more clouded in the church than worship. Worship in our age has been denigrated to being a synonym for music. Instead worship is the believer communing with God and seeking to do 2 things: 1. Glorify God. 2. Enjoy him forever. These 2 ideas were put forward hundreds of years ago to answer the question of “What is the Chief End of Man.” With this understanding worship takes on a whole new meaning. Worship is not only singing, though singing praise is included. Instead it is everything we do to glorify God and enjoy him forever. This includes prayer, scripture reading, preaching, giving, fellowship, missions, evangelism, discipleship and all other endeavors we pursue for God’s kingdom.
